Entering the fight as a large underdog, Rafael dos Anjos shocked most people when he utterly dominated the incumbent champ Anthony Pettis in the main event at UFC 185.
When the dust had settled, all five judges concurred that dos Anjos had earned a 50-45 shutout decision victory.
This marked only the second time in UFC history that the challenger won a title fight 50-45 on all three judges' scorecards. The first to achieve the feat: Randy Couture, when he thoroughly thumped Tim Sylvia at UFC 68.
In five other UFC title fights, the defending champion has pitched a shutout when triumphing by decision. Georges St-Pierre is the only fighter to do it twice, beating Josh Koscheck and Nick Diaz without dropping a stanza.
Rashad Evans is the only fighter to win all five rounds on all judges' scorecards in a non-title bout.
