When Rashad Evans lost a unanimous decision to Ryan Bader at UFC 192, he extended his record of having the longest UFC career without being involved in a submission (winning or losing).

Evans has now had 19 career UFC fights - 12 of those have ended in a judges' decision while 7 have ended in a KO or TKO. Additionally, none of Evans' three exhibition fights on The Ultimate Fighter ended in a submission.

Four fighters are tied for second place in this category: Gray Maynard, Matt Hamill, Roy Nelson and Johny Hendricks have all had 15 career UFC fights without being involved in a decision. Maynard both won and lost exhibition fights on The Ultimate Fighter by submission. Nelson won five of his first six professional MMA fights by submission, prior to joining the UFC.

Brazilian Wanderlei Silva is the only non-American to make the top 12 in this category.
