Frankie Edgar cut it close, but with four seconds left in the fifth round on Saturday night, he finally got the finish he was looking for against the resilient Cub Swanson.

Edgar's neck crank submission at 4:56 was easily the latest finish in a five-round UFC fight. Prior to Saturday, Demetrious Johnson held the honour of having the latest stoppage, with his win by armbar over John Moraga at 3:43 of the final championship round.
